Notes on use

  • Molecular weight. Values are average molecular weights calculated from the molecular formula with standard atomic weights. Salt forms and counter-ions change the effective weight; when a certificate states a different value, use the certificate.
  • Net peptide content. Lyophilized peptides contain water and counter-ions in addition to the peptide. For precise molar work, correct the mass by the net peptide content reported on the batch certificate.
  • Scope. These calculators are intended for solution preparation in a laboratory setting. They do not provide, and must not be used for, dosing of any kind.
